Cubs Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Chicago Cubs are an American professional baseball team based in Chicago, Illinois. The Cubs compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) Central division. The team plays its home games at Wrigley Field, located on the city's North Side. The Cubs are one of two major league teams in Chicago; the other, the Chicago White Sox, is a member of the American League (AL) Central division. The Cubs, first known as the White Stockings, were a founding member of the NL in 1876, becoming the Chicago Cubs in 1903.

Neal angrily reviewed "These new Cubs owners are more greedy than a Chicago Teacher's Union. Gouging the long-suffering fans every way they can. For every last cent. Exorbitant ticket prices. Outrageous prices for food. $34 for a baseball cap (saw at Walmart). And $12 for a plastic cup of that awful swill they call Budweiser?!? Not for me. Fans had suffered long enough. So once things start looking up and they actually win a World Series, prices skyrocket. They just find another way for the loyal fans to suffer. Not for me. Of course, once they skyrocket the prices, the team goes flat, flatter than two-day old beer, not even making the playoffs. Spend time watching them sink back into the doldrums? Not for me. Then, after all this, they think they are going to make a killing with their own Cubs TV channel on cable, pulling the plug on watching games on free over-the-air TV, like on long-time broadcaster WGN after 72 years. They think 24/7 Cubs baseball will sell. All at the same time people (like me) are cutting the cord on pay cable. Especially when it is bundled with all kinds of stuff you don't want. Would I ever subscribe? Don't be silly. Not for me."
